Some of my favorite memories from childhood are tied to the simple things in life. One of those things was Thai tea. I always loved its creamy sweetness, its distinctive tea aroma, and the comfort that came with drinking it. It was more than just a drink I enjoyed. It was a familiar taste that brought a certain warmth and happiness, something I could always come back to.

As I grew older, my love for fragrance gave me a way to revisit those memories through scent. I started thinking about how I could take something so familiar and transform it into something unexpected. That was the beginning of Thai Tea Soda.

I didn't want to simply recreate the smell of Thai tea. I wanted to capture the feeling behind it while taking it somewhere entirely different. I imagined a fragrance that opened the door to a wild, untamed landscape, where dense forests stretch beyond the horizon, the air is thick with the scent of damp earth and greenery, and ancient trees stand quietly beneath a canopy of leaves.

Nature has always played a major role in how I imagine fragrance. I'm drawn to the raw beauty of the outdoors, the richness of the forest, and the way nature can make you feel both small and completely at peace. I wanted those elements to live alongside the sweetness and familiarity of Thai tea, creating a contrast between the comfort of a childhood memory and the mysterious beauty of the wilderness.

The result is a fragrance built around two different worlds. One is warm, sweet, and comforting, reminiscent of the Thai tea I loved growing up. The other is darker, wilder, and more adventurous, inspired by the depths of the jungle and the earthy character of the forest. The oud brings that untamed feeling into the composition, giving the fragrance a sense of depth and character that takes it far beyond the familiar.

To me, the beauty of Thai Tea Soda is in that contrast. I wanted it to feel like finding a quiet place of comfort in the middle of a wild jungle, surrounded by unfamiliar sounds, towering trees, and the scent of nature after the rain. There is something peaceful about that image, something that feels both mysterious and deeply familiar.

Thai Tea Soda is my attempt to turn a childhood favorite into a journey through nature. It is a fragrance about nostalgia, exploration, and the connection between scent and memory.
