Shipping
We currently ship within the United States only. International shipping is not available at this time.
Shipping is a flat rate of $8 per order by standard ground service, shown at checkout before you pay. Delivery estimates are not guarantees unless expressly stated otherwise.
Processing time: orders are processed within 1–2 business days before they ship. Presale orders of Thai Tea Soda ship in January 2027.
Please make sure your shipping address is accurate. If you notice an error, contact us promptly at Theoudproject@pm.me. If an order is lost, damaged in transit, or not delivered as expected, email us with your order number so we can investigate. See Terms of Sale, section 7.

Returns & exchanges
All sales are final. Due to the personal nature of fragrance products and hygiene considerations, we do not accept returns or exchanges for a change of mind, personal preference, or dissatisfaction with a scent.
This does not exclude any remedy required by law, including where an item arrives damaged, is defective, is incorrect, or has not been supplied as agreed. If there is an issue with your order, email Theoudproject@pm.me with your order number and details.

Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information The Oud Project collects through this website, how it is used, and the choices you have. Questions can be sent to Theoudproject@pm.me.
1. Information we collect
- Email list: your email address when you join our list for release announcements, pre-order reminders or brand news.
- Orders: the name, email, shipping and billing address, phone number and payment details you enter at checkout.
- Contact form: your name, email, topic, order number (if given) and message.
- Technical information: like most websites, our hosting provider automatically receives basic information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request.
2. How we use it
- To process, ship and support your orders, and to send order confirmations and receipts.
- To enforce purchase limits on limited releases (for example, one bottle per customer, checked by email address).
- To reply to your messages.
- To send release announcements and brand news, only if you join our list.
- To keep the website secure, prevent fraud, and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
3. Services that process your information
We use trusted providers to run the shop. Each handles your information only as needed to provide its service:
- WooCommerce runs our shop on this website and stores your order details.
- Stripe processes payments made by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Link. Payment details are entered into Stripe’s secure payment fields and are never stored on our website. Stripe may use cookies to prevent fraud.
- Klarna, Affirm, Cash App Pay and Amazon Pay are offered as payment options at checkout. If you choose one of them, that provider receives the information it needs to process your payment, and may run its own checks (for example, for pay-later plans), under its own privacy policy.
- Hostinger hosts this website, and Hostinger Reach stores our email list and sends our emails. Our emails may use standard tracking that tells us whether an email was opened or a link was clicked.
- WPForms handles the contact and email list forms on this website.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on this site, so your browser connects to Google to load them.
- Shipping carriers receive your name, address and, where needed, phone number to deliver your order.
4. Cookies
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our shop uses essential cookies so your cart is remembered while you browse and so checkout works. Stripe may set cookies on the checkout page to prevent fraud.
5. Email marketing and unsubscribing
We only send marketing emails to people who choose to join our list. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email we send, or by emailing Theoudproject@pm.me. Unsubscribing stops marketing emails. You will still receive emails about any order you place.
6. How long we keep information
We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfill orders, handle any issues, and meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. We keep your email list subscription until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. We keep contact messages for as long as needed to respond and follow up.
7. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, subject to records we are required to keep by law. Depending on where you live, including California, you may have additional rights under local law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, email Theoudproject@pm.me; we may need to confirm your identity before acting on it.
8. Children
This website is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use reputable providers and secure (HTTPS) connections to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe.

The Oud Project is an independent artisanal fragrance brand specializing in handcrafted fragrances made with a variety of aromatic materials, which may include natural extracts, essential oils, botanical tinctures, oud, musks, and other fragrance ingredients.
By placing an order through our website, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these Terms of Sale.
2. All Sales Are Final
Due to the personal nature of fragrance products and hygiene considerations, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges for reasons including a change of mind, personal preference, dissatisfaction with a fragrance’s scent, or a product not meeting individual expectations.
Please carefully review product descriptions, bottle sizes, and prices before completing your purchase.

3. Handmade Fragrances and Natural Ingredients
Our fragrances are developed using artisanal perfumery methods and may contain natural aromatic materials, botanical tinctures, essential oils, and other ingredients.
Natural ingredients can vary in aroma, color, and characteristics between batches. Individual fragrances may also develop differently depending on skin chemistry, environmental conditions, and personal perception.
Natural ingredients are not automatically free of allergens or skin sensitivities. The presence of natural materials does not guarantee that a fragrance will be suitable for every individual.
Please review all available product and ingredient information before purchasing. Contact us before ordering if you have questions about a particular ingredient.
4. Skin Sensitivity and Safe Use
Our fragrances are intended for their stated use and must be used according to the product’s directions.
Before applying a fragrance more broadly, test a small amount on a limited area of skin in accordance with appropriate product-use guidance. Allow sufficient time to observe for a reaction. A small-area test cannot guarantee that an allergic reaction or irritation will not occur.
- Discontinue use immediately if redness, burning, itching, rash, swelling, or other irritation develops.
- Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes, and broken or irritated skin.
- Do not ingest fragrance products.
- Keep products out of reach of children and pets.
- Do not use a product if you know or suspect that you are sensitive or allergic to one of its ingredients.
- Seek medical advice if a reaction persists or is severe.
By purchasing our products, you acknowledge that individual sensitivities can vary and that fragrance products may cause adverse reactions in some individuals.
Nothing in these Terms of Sale excludes or limits any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
5. Product Information and Availability
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, sizes, and prices are accurate. However, minor differences in color, presentation, or natural material characteristics may occur.
Product availability may change without notice. We reserve the right to correct listing errors and to decline or cancel an order where permitted by law, including when a product is unavailable or a listing contains a material error. If payment has been collected for an order that we cancel, we will provide any refund required by law.

All prices are displayed in the currency identified at checkout. Applicable taxes, shipping fees, and other disclosed charges may be added before payment.
Payment must be successfully processed before an order is accepted for fulfillment. Submitting an order does not guarantee acceptance until we provide an order confirmation.

Nothing in these Terms of Sale excludes or limits liability for matters that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including any applicable liability relating to defective or unsafe products, negligence, or statutory consumer rights.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Sale are subject to the laws applicable to the transaction and the parties, including applicable consumer-protection laws. If The Oud Project is established in California, California law may govern to the extent applicable, without displacing mandatory protections that apply elsewhere.

Presale
Pre-orders for Thai Tea Soda open on November 6, 2026 and close at the end of December 4, 2026 (US Pacific time).
Thai Tea Soda is offered on presale at $15 off the regular price (15 ml: $150, regular $165; 30 ml: $285, regular $300). Presale orders are paid in full at checkout and ship in January 2027. Thai Tea Soda is a limited edition. Only part of it is offered during the presale, and pre-orders are limited to one bottle per customer (per email address).
